DanMachi is a series based on the light novel of the same name by author Isin Sakura. The story follows Yozora Aishi as she joins up with the Danmachi – a group of female magicians who fight against magical beasts known as Arrancars. Season 1 of DanMachi was released in 2016 and followed Yozora and her friends as they continued their adventures in Aleph.
Season 2 of DanMachi will be released in late 2018 and is set several months after the events of Season 1. In this season, Yozora joins forces with an unlikely ally – a certifiable madman named Bedivere – in order to stop Bedivere’s brother, Arthur, from ascending to the throne of Aleph and Kengan ashura season 3.
